About Us

Not just “guardians” by industry definition, but guardians at heart.

We are all individuals who feel a deep commitment to protect the powerless and give voice to the marginalized. We are those who would live by this credo whether it was our job or not; that’s how deeply we feel it.

Our Team

Our team took an active role in making guardianship training available via webcasts for any guardianship stakeholder interested in benefiting from such training. Our President, Kay Schroeder, was honored to serve as the Wisconsin Guardianship Association President from 2012 to 2016, and was instrumental in the creation of the WGA Standards of Practice. Additionally, our agency, along with many other guardian stakeholders throughout the State, worked diligently on the Corporate Guardian Fee Standard Initiative, which was introduced through WINGS several years ago.

I enjoy a challenge and the differentness every day brings. I have experience in CPS, direct care work, working with a local Native American tribe, and most recently as a care manager with a managed care organization. I feel that my experience in all of these will make me a great asset to the CG team. I enjoy advocating for others and helping people find their voice.

I believe that everyone deserves a chance to live their best life and I want to be a part of that.
